Nursing Advisor
(20 months contract Thessaloniki)
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Provides clinical and professional support to customers (both pro-actively and need-based), by participating in the organization of educational programs.
  • Acts as the prime educational point of reference and spokesperson on therapies for assigned clients.
  • Manages relationships with assigned reference centers and plans visits with them communicating all relevant information.
  • Supports finance (Credit and Collections department) to gather all needed documentation per patient required for monthly submission for reimbursement from the security social system.
  • Operates with clearly defined procedures and protocols, made available by the HCP and or/Baxter and works towards constantly reviewing these as and when required.
  • 24 hours phone support (patients and hospitals).
  • Training for HCPs/PD patients.
  • Responsible for the implementation and the quality of the PD patient support programs.
  • Takes care of training and education of home dialysis HCPs/ PD Pts, as needed and defined by the relevant HCP.
  • Plans and prepares for each client visit and records outcomes in internals agreed with the HCP of the related to each patient center.
  • Reports customer/client complaints, or Pharmacovigilance related issues and take appropriate actions , following internal processes and procedures.
  • Continues training and learning on current and new therapies, in alignment with Baxter and Greek MoH Standards.
  • Provides internal training, if needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Nursing Diploma (TEI) or Nursing University Degree
  • Enrolment in National Nursing Register (licensed nurse)
  • Experience in roll-out of educational programs is preferred.
  • Specialization in the artificial kidney with relevant previous experience is preferred.
  • Have a good knowledge of English and Computer Skills (Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint)
  • BOOST (HCP and Customer monitoring tool): Particular knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
  • Able to recognize the appropriateness in the dialysis prescription.
  • Complete evaluation, implementation, monitoring and documentation of PD treatments and liase with HCP.
  • Observation and evaluation of psychological issues related to therapy management, recognize manifestations of psychological difficulty, and ensure communication with competent HCP in a timely manner.
  • Collection, monitoring, evaluation and implementation of data for quality improvement processes and risk management.
  • Training of colleagues, patients and caregivers in management of PD therapies upon request.
  • Know and apply all recognized professional references, such as code of ethics, published guidelines and standards.
  • Know and apply the constraints of law and regulations relating to the management of clients and their therapies.
